“With his Midwest-inspired music and cowboy charm, Tommy Goodroad possesses damn near all the qualities one could want from a modern country singer,” says Corrine Robinson of Music Mecca. Chicago-based and Minnesota-raised, Tommy Goodroad began releasing music in 2021 and has been playing shows around the country since. His band, “solid as a Minnesota pond in February” (Glide Magazine), is the namesake of his debut EP, “Tommy Goodroad and The Highway Birds,” released in 2023. Pit Stop hails from the musical Mecca that is Minneapolis. They are currently working on their sophomore album that they plan to release in 2024. Deviating from the country-influenced tracks of their first record, the new material finds the band wandering down and wildly oscillating between beaten up paths of rock eras past, in search of a trail all their own.

Toadvine is a 6-piece alt-country band out of Chicago, Illinois. They released their second EP Toadvine II in 2024, featuring their noise-country cover of Merle Haggard’s The Bottle Let Me Down; a crowd favorite at shows throughout the Midwest. Starting as a recording project in Ohio in 2020, the band found its home on stage with bands like Dougie Poole, Tobacco City, Lavender Country and Elizabeth Moen. They are currently working on a full-length album set to be released next year.
