Blending live music, striking visuals, and choreography from performer Alex Grelle, art rock duo FINOM, and multidisciplinary creator Jesse Morgan Young, audiences are immersed in the world of Bush’s hits and deep cuts alike.
Full Bush celebrates the Kate Bush’s eccentricities by incorporating elaborate, over-the-top costumes and performances with frenetic choreography and transfixing projections. This experimental theatrical collaboration from Macie Stewart and Sima Cunningham of art-rock band FINOM and vaudevillian homage-collage artist Alex Grelle brings the incomparable magic of Kate Bush's music to life. With elements of live music, dance, and striking visuals, this loving reimaging of Kate Bush’s illustrious career is co-created with Jesse Morgan Young. To tackle new arrangements of Kate Bush’s music, Finom expanded to a six piece ensemble to feature the hits as well as some of her beloved deep cuts.
Jesse Morgan Young is a multidisciplinary artist, director, writer, and producer. His most recent video project, ‘Andrew In Anotherland’, premiered at Chicago’s Millennium Park as part of the city’s Summer Music Series. Jesse's work has been seen at the Museum of Contemporary Art - Chicago, Chicago Humanities Festival, PIVOT Arts Festival, Stargazer Music Festival, American Theater Company, Perseverance Theatre and Portland Center Stage among others.
